Cloud based solutions

Commonly known as "cloud based solutions", there are differing definitions as to what this means.

In the first instance, cloud based internet access allows organisations to connect all of their sites whether they be head offices, regional offices or even home workers or retail sites cost effectively over one managed network. Rather than individual sites needing dedicated circuits to each other or for individual firewalls to be managed at each site, all sites connect through the central Europacom core.

Security and firewall protection is managed centrally, reducing operational hardware and support costs.

In the second instance, cloud based hosting allows organisations to host application servers at a central Europacom hosting centre. Each company site connects to the Europacom core network, taking away for the need for a head office, where high bandwidth applications were stored, to have large bandwidth access for all other sites to connect from.

Any data traffic across customer locations never crosses the public internet and remains within your own virtual private network ensuring that it is totally secure and supported as a fully managed solution.

We can manage and monitor your service under a pre determined Service Level Agreement so that you can have absolute peace of mind that your applications perate at optimum performance be it data transfer, e-commerce, card transactions, video surveillance or Voice over IP.

Centralised hosted network management

Hosting essential applications centrally "in the Cloud" eliminates the need for local site configuration, firewalls and support. Furthermore, access by remote sites to centralised hosted applications reduces bandwidth requirement and the chance of all sites losing access through a single point of failure.

IPVPN - Old style networks

• Where multiple sites are inter connected with multiple circuits and dedicated firewalls at each site.
• Applications are spread at geographically dispersed sites leading to a single point of failure and a requirement for sufficient bandwidth for all sites to access each application.

PWAN - New style private networks

• Where multiple sites are connected to a central hosting environment with a centrally managed firewall.
• Applications are stored centrally on hosted servers reducing local management support costs and bandwidth requirement to head office.
